It seems you may be loosing your connection between the PC and the router. If you are not running Vista, try running TCP Optimiser if you have not already done so.

You would also be better to clear the router by resetting it, then use Mognuts to set the noise margin if necessary. Faults appear to have been carried over from your previous setting.

      Re: More connection problems

Won't the sync have dropped due to me increasing the SNR? I'll try a hard reset on the router and then set my SNR again again with Mognuts utility.

I've tried using TCPoptimizer before. Is there something specific I should try with it or just adjust my MTU accordingly?

      Have a look here - SpeedGuide.net - TCP Optimizer

What speed are you setting the slider to, I would try it at you maximum, ie, about 15000.

As you say, increasing your SNR would reduce your sync, but not as much as it has. That's why I asked if you were still in the Test socket.

      Re: More connection problems

Sorry, yes I'm still in the test socket.

The MTU is already set to 1500 from the last time I used TCPoptimizer.

Also, I don't think I ecer lose the connection from my PC to router. Ican always browse/ping the router...it's the WAN that lets me down :-(

      Very puzzling!
