What speed will I get ?

I'm currently with Nildram paying 25.99 for an ADSLmax connection. For about the same money I can get the MAX package with sky - 15 (minimum SKY package) + 10 for the MAX adsl connection. The children get SKY I get the extra ADSL speed (maybe).

Currently I'm getting 4-5 Mbps on ADSLmax with Nildram and the UKOnline checker gives me a prediction of 15.5 Mbps (my exchange is LLU enabled).

Does that speed look likely from my stats ?

Straight line distance from exchange : 566 metres

      Noise Margin (Down):12 (Up):26

      Thanks.

you should end up with a good speed,
attenuation figure of 20 is nice. and you are pretty close to the exchange.

      Welcome to the site Ozymandias

With those figures you should max out the connection my stats are very similar and I can download at around 1.45MB/s

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

      Thanks for the replies chaps.

Looking at DSL Zone and plugging in my attenuation gives me 16-20 Mbps

I very much doubt you will get that you will probably get around the same as me but it would be nice to get 20MB wouldn't it
