Just to update my current thread
Its now one week since I got the CEASE from my previous ISP.
and 13 days since the PROVIDE was supposed to happen.

My current status is no broadband from my old ISP
and no provision with SKY BB

Ive been internetless for 7 days now

SKY CS / TS / OS there is nothing we can do. You just have to wait.......

I feel your pain Nutter. I'm coming up to a month since my original provide date (3 weeks since the latest info on the BT tracker) and 2 weeks since my cease, leaving me internet-less. I sincerely hope there's light at the end of this tunnel....

Just got off the phone to Provisioning and he still cannot believe that a cancel request was done just before I was going to got active on the 6th September and so now they have to cancel that order which was done on the 21st September and then send a request to BT for them to activate my line and he said upto 2 - 3 weeks before I could be activated.

He said I was amazingly calm which I am. and wondered why I did not go to another ISP which I must admit I have thought abotu but want to give Sky a go.

PS I have told this guy about the Forum he sounds like he may come aboard and help us
