The day is indeed young but knowing my luck they will go ahead with the cease and leave me with no broadband.

I have all fingers crossed for everyone since thats all I can do really

As the annoucement says on the beginiing of these forums....
BT are currently experiencing a 7 day delay...
so for me that 7 days it today...
Im away from tomorrow for 4 days, so either way after today i wont need my internet connection for work, so that is some saving grace, and hopefully it will all be working again by monday so I can carry on working from home again..

      7 day delay???

      Today it's a 13 day delay!

Ok that's from when Sky said I would go live, not when BT said I would go live. That should be today. I hope. Does that mean I'm going to have to wait 7 days from the BT date until I go live? That's going to leave a one or 2 day period if they do the CEASE on time that I'd be without BB.

But why wouldn't they just do both of them at at same time???

BT said i would be live on the 13th September, as I said in my earlier posts
my CEASE has already happened, so so far I have been BB less for 2 days,
gonna try and give CS another ring now.

Yes this is one for the problems SkyBB is having with BT at the moment as they are failing to activate people when they should but seem to be ceasing on the dates they should instead of using some common sense and leaving the ISP Stream connection active until the migration to LLU is complete.

As to why they do a cease 3 working days after the migration thats the way BT work it so if there is a problem they can out you back until its fixed, its a shame they cannot get the migrations done on time in the first place then there plan would be great.

6 days past my activation date!

Spent countless hours on the phone since the 14th.

      BT tracker says:

      Description: CHANGE
      Appointment No date yet
      Date due: 14 Sep 2006

      Placed: 06 Sep 2006
      Description: CHANGE
      Appointment: No date yet
      Date due: 20 Sep 2006
      Status: Order completed
      Last update 20 Sep 2006
Latest update Your order has been completed

      CEASE: (ADSL) BT IPSTREAM HOME 2000 1 0.0 0.0

Yep - you guessed it. No connection to previous ISP as of last night.

Provisioning were meant to call me back yesterday - still no call. Been on the phone for about 1.5 hours this morning to various depts. Order tracking dept on Sky says "order is in progess". Currently on hold to provisioning.

I don't think Sky are aware of the BT tracker, as we seem to provide them with more information than they can give us.

Trying not to loose my temper on the phone, but Sky are really testing my patience
