      Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

      I will when I get home try it, if it doesn't work then i'll call provisioning and tell them what my findings are.

      I'm in the same boat as many others, activation was scheduled for the 14th, cease on the 19th. Activation didn't go through but they had no problem performing the cease on time .


      I guess we can only wait and hope (or ring up and moan)

      Glad some are having success though

      I now find out that there is a fault on my exchange and has been since 27th August so Sky need to send thier engineers out but thet are backlogged and no date when it will be done so until thats completed I cannot connect.

      As I thought nothing so have now written a letter to sky's broadband address asking for compensation and getting them to hurry it up as I said I think I was being patient enough and something had to be done.

      I sent customer services an email yesterday stating the same thing , ive waited long enough had a downtime of 9 days, i want some compensation and to sort it out.
      Heard nothing yet, and still no connection for me

      Just got off the phone to Order Status again.

      No new information, and the person who was chasing my order with Bt, has "no new information" i.e it hasnt been chased.
      Sky have no information for me. And there is nothing they can do
      Woohoooo
