The latest excuse for the delays...

Just got off the phone from SKY Order Status
the latest info that I have now is "someone is looking into it"
A record on my file dated 22/9/06
So i said to the girl on the phone, "so no new information then?"

Aparrently the delay has been caused by BT enigneers who dont work on saturdays, but SKY provisiong thought they did so given all the orders that Sky have been placing with BT, on a 6/7 day working week, only to find out that BT have a 5 day working week.....

Thats a new excuse that I havn't heard before, anyone else had this one ?

This was the excuse that I got today..........Think they are just maling it up as they go along now!!!!

Still no broadband..........Just got off the phone with TS they now say there is a 7 day delay from your activation day....funny how my first activation day was the 8th September then the 15th then the 22nd these dates are exactly 7 days apart, so that makes me 17 days overdue........I bet when the 29th comes they will tell me the same again.

I sure hope your wrong Steve

But looking at what a lot of members have gone through in the last few weeks you are probably right, I really wish SkyBB and BTW would sort this mess out.

      LOL
You would of thought that a system would know when a BAND code has been used and entered into the system, and to STOP sending you can now order letters. Imagine what a customer who is not so IT savvy think of it..

"Oooo I best phone up and pay another 40 activation fee"......
