      Preferred & Alternate Server Help

      What should i use for these?? I trying to set up a static ip address??

      A lot of us use the OpenDNS servers, OpenDNS | Providing A Safer And Faster Internet

      You do know we don't have a static IP with Sky, don't you? You can get a "lite" static Ip from here though, free, DNS Hosting, domain name management and registration, dynamic DNS, secondary DNS and managed nameservers by easyDNS

      I'm guessing maybe the OP means a static IP for a device on a LAN?



      @Snacktapus

      If that's what you mean then you can either leave it as "obtain DNS server automatically" or set network properties to use a public DNS such as OpenDNS.
