      Sky Broadband Advisor Setup

I'm on the internet and everything, been on for about 2 weeks now. But for some reason, I can't install the Sky Broadband advisor they send with it.
I think it's because for some reason, I have 2 install discs. One with the advisor on and one without.
They sent me the one without when they sent the router and I installed but it wasn't activated until about a week later.
Now whenever I try to install it I get a conflicting device error but the IP it gives me that's conflicting is my own default LAN ip...
      Help please.

Is it the CD that comes with the router?

If so you don't need to install anything unless you want McAfee AV.

If you want McAfee you should be able to browse / explore the CD and install manually. If you don't don't worry.

do you have both wireless and wired connections?

double check they're IPs, they could be set the same and thus conflicting...

change the connections IPs the auto, and if need be also change DNS to OpenDNS and see what happens...

Thanks for the reply. Sorry but I don't really want to be downloading programs for the internet and things like that.

Yeah I have both wired and wireless, but I tried to do it when the wireless wasn't connected (checked attached devices).
