      Port forwarding

      Hi,

I've tried to set up port forwarding on my DG834GT Sky router and it just isn't working. I did check the FAQ on how to do it and it is setup 'properly'.

Doing a port scan on the router, it doesn't show the ports I selected *8082 and 8083) open at all - in fact opening all ports doesn't change the port status in the scan.

      Any ideas?

Hi - no response, any ideas from anyone? I changed the ports to 50001-50002 and still no result.

Make sure you are doing the incoming ones, not the outgoing.

SkyUser - The Unofficial Help and Support Forum for everything Sky! - BitComet Port forwarding on a Sagem F@ST 2504 Router.

I know it is for the Sagem, but the principle is the same.

      Re: Port forwarding

Yes tried that - now seem to have one port responding to a port scan - 50002, but 50001 doesn't come up on a port scan. Strange.
