      It's Driving Me Insane.

Basically been using Sky BB Max for about 7 months now with no problems, then I get a laptop and decide to use the laptop on wireless with the Home PC still connected wired.

However that was working fine for about 2 weeks, then all of a sudden the internet connection will just fall on both wired and the wireless connection and the only way to get the conn. back is to switch off and switch on the router again. Usual timing of these intervals is anywhere between every 5mins and every hour.

What can I do to solve it ?

      Grrrr it's driving me insane.

      Thanks,

Try connecting your router to your BT test socket that's usually hidden behind the front of your master socket.

i would agree that this is more of a hard wired issue than a wireless one. How are you connected initially to the phone line. Take the advice of connecting to the test socket directly. If you could log into your router and post your full stats we may be able to help.

Have you disabled UPnP in the router. This can cause this type of problem.
