    I hate Sky Broadband

This is a discussion on I hate Sky Broadband within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; I think that CST has seen errors building up on your line and has capped you due to that....

The router won't improve your line which is what is causing the issue, it may improve the stability of the connection and allow it to sync slightly faster. You need to sort the physical issue on the line out.

Is it the amount of errors that tells me it's a line issue? Cause I don't know.

Yes. Even heavily capped your line errors are terrible. You can't blame Sky for the problems you're having. It's your line and there's nothing they can do about that.

Please do a comparison between your normal connection and your test socket which is hidden inside your master socket. Do the tests within a few minutes of each other and make sure that for the test socket one nothing is plugged in other than a filter and the router i.e. no plug in extensions, phone or splitter.

Then post your simple stats from the tests - that's just the attenuation, noise margin and sync speeds. The other stuff isn't important at the moment.

Will do, but won't get back to you till Saturday (haha) probably cause i'm really busy at the moment and it's hard to find a time when someone in the house isn't using the net. Thanks for your help though.
