      slow adsl2 speeds..

hi guys... since just before christmas my 13Mb download speeds have dropped to 3-4Mb. I was having problems with the speeds dropping to 200Kb and kept having to reboot.. this has since stopped but no matter what time of the day I can't seem to get more than this 3-4Mb.

My stats for the last 3hrs are posted below.. I will post 24hour stats tomorrow.. Does anyone have a thought as to what is happening?.. also my firmware version is.. V1.02.28

      come on you spurs!!

the router is connected to the only BT line coming into the house.. there are no extensions running off it..

      Re: slow adsl2 speeds..

Try connecting to the test socket behind the master socket as you seem to have some errors on the line . If you post your stats whilst connected there and the errors are still there t may be a line problem and a BT problem.

      Re: slow adsl2 speeds..

You have quite a few line errors but that doesn't explain the magnitude of the drop in speed you report. Though you'd benefit from reducing those errors, that would improve your stability rather than make much difference to throughput.

You don't say if you are wired or wireless. If wireless then look to that as the cause of your problem.

they should be as close to zero as possible - there's your issue, noise on the line...do you have a test socket?
