      Bt line

      Hi all

      I have just orderd sky max boradband and needed a bit of information about the bt line.
      we have two sky boxs in our house the 1 downstairs is connceted to the bt line which comes up to my sky box in my room and that is were the computer is that i want the internet on and just wanted to know if i can extend the phone line to the computer and have both coming of the same phone line.

      Yes, the Sky router comes with 3 ADSL filters, each of which have 2 sockets, 1 for a telephone or Sky Box, and 1 for a router. You need to plug one of these filters into each telephone socket on your line.

      Your broadband may work better if plugged into the main socket however.
