      dropping Sky TV

      In a few weeks I'm hpoing to get rid off Sky TV, and going the freeview route. This won't affect the broadband though, surely? I'm on MAX.

      yes it will as a pre-requisite of Sky BB is that you have to be a Sky TV subscriber...why do you think it's so cheap?

      afaik, you need a sky subcription (i think the lowest is 17) to get the broadband

      Im sure I have read somewhere in the last few weeks that you will be able to get Sky Broadband seperate from your Sky tv in about 6 months. So you can still keep the broadband without the sky tv subscription but not 100 % sure so its entirely your decision

      Hmm can i ask why you have checked my information ? pretty weird if you ask me. You should try getting a picture of me now and also which college i officially go then your research would be complete.
