      Have i been capped.

I normaly get between 3.5 and 5 mb which i am happy with as its what i was told i would get from bt.
The last week or so i have only been getting 0.9mb average and my router settings say i am getting 1.042mb and it has said that consistantly.

I have reset my router and repaired my network connection.

The figure never changes which would suggest to me that it has been set at that by my service provider.
      Anyone got any ideas.

being on Connect, the speed changes with changes in the line - if the weather is bad it'll get slower so it could be seasonal variances. what are ur current stats?

I presume that is what you wanted, the settings on my router state 1020 down and 412 up, i put the wrong stats earlier.
Its just that it is normaly a different figure every time i check but this time it has been the same figure of 1020 which seems a bit suss.

I think this is the stats to my router at the moment.

Also further to IAm NotTheEnemy reply it would also appear that connect customers have been suffering some form of problem with BT , which in turn is effecting their speed . Previous posts indicate that Sky have no real idea how long it will take for BT to fix the problem

yes BT have capped it - the speed you download at changes with conditions of the line so if you're not in your master/test socket yet I'd give it a go there and see if it'll force the IP Profile to retrain...
