      Taking the plunge

Hi am i glad i found this website, i was thinking of moving from bt were i currently pay 29 pm and jumping onboard with sky.
Now i'm not so sure reading alot of your posts, i had i few emails of SBB saying its not in my area yet.
Today i got an email saying they would like to offer me Sky Broadband Connect for 17 its still better than paying bt 29, and they will switch me over when it is in my area.
I decided to do a search and see what people are saying about it and it seems quite a few people are having problems.
Also i dont want to pay 40 to change but i thought if i ring them and tell them that they might waver it ???
I am not sure what the full deal is with Sky Broadband Connect do you still get the router virus software ect?
My main question is bt installed my adsl ive been with them from day 1 its like a double phone socket box, one for the phone one for the adsl modem, will this cause any problems if i do change ?
any help or advice would be great thanks Mike
