      Is it possible to test a connection remotely?

      Hi

      I have signed up with Sky Broadband

      Today is the activation today, but I am currently at work.

      I need to be able to have access to the internet this evening to complete some work, but I'm unsure as to whether the line has been activated or not yet.

      If not, I need to stay late at work and get the work done here.

      If so, I can do the work from home.

      Is there a website that will allow me to check whether my line now has an active internet connection?

      Activation can take up to midnight on the activation date, could be delayed too. As far as I know there is no way of testing for ADSL on the line remotely before the router is up and running unless you work for SKY CST lol

      A bit late now, but if you put your Phone No. in HERE it will tell you if you have BB on your line. There was an unscanned batch of routers sent out recently and if you have one of these, it could be several days before you get on line
