      How fair is the FUP?

The monthly figures quoted sound okay, do SKY have the same Peak Times 6-11pm system as Tiscali, who I have just switched from. I could download an obscene amount off peak without a peep out of them, anyone been troubled off peak by SKY.

I'm just waiting for MAX to kick in.

      Thanks.

Well i download around 250gig a month but i never download between 6pm-11pm.

Though i'd like to know if the fup is just for around that time or all day?

And what the figure is, Though i've heard 250gig is around that number.

I don't think there is any peak/offpeak with Sky LLU, although I seem to remember reading somewhere that in fairness to others, those who want to download the Internet, do it at night.

Re: How fair is the FUP?

sky max puts tiscali to shame in a instant, as far as i know noone has ever been "told off" for downloading too much on max, i hammer my connection and have had no warnings or restrictions placed on my account.

Id say download till your hearts content, maybe if your downloading a few terrabytes a month then sky might have something to say, at the end of the day 250gigs is a hell of a lot anyway.

it dont matter what time of the day i use my connection, no traffic shapping or peak time restrctions are in place - sky broadband max IS the best bb package i have ever had in 6 years of been online with various isps.
