      Shall i move to sky?

      Hi

I currently have an AOL connection. My router stats are:

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 4704 kbps 448 kbps
Line Attenuation 46 db 14.5 db
Noise Margin 6 db 26 db

Im currently on AOL's LLU. Would i get better speeds on Sky MAX or will they be the same? Mind you the above stats are taken when my router was plugged into the master test socket.

      Thanks

you wouldnt get anything different then IF that is on AOL's LLU (looks like a ADSLMax service but AOL might use the same upload as BT)

Unless you are heavy downloader, there would be little point in moving to Max, as you would get very little, if any, speed increase. Mid would probably give you about the same speed at 5 a month.

With your reasonably high attenuation, I don't think anyone would stick their neck out and say exactly what you would get, but whatever it is, it will be a lot cheaper than you are paying now.
