      On main Issue thats needs attention!!

      Hi Guys

      I am a old user of sky broadband and I have today come because of a one main problem disconnection at two times within the day.

      I get disconnected at 4.10pm and then 7.30pm

      I have a download speed of 14mb in the hours between 9am and 3pm

      and then I get around 10mb.

      I don't really have a problem with the download speeds but its the disconnection that bugs me.

      I have turned off upnp off so thats one off the checklist.

      all help and advise is welcome.

      all so my gaming experience on ps3 online in the evening is bad than the morning.

      Noise margin is low, as soon as it hits a certain number you will disconnect. Can you give more details on your set up, are you plugged into the master socket, any extensions on the line, anything else plugged into the telephone line?

      yes its in the master socket. No extensions.

      nothing else plugged into the telephone line.

      You SNR is very low, do you suffer line noise, low volume on calls etc? Also is the filter the first thing plugged into the socket on the wall?
      Does your telephone socket wallplate have a physical line running left to right on the plate just above the screws?

      The volume on the phone line is excellent.
      the filter is in the wall first.

      I dont get the last bit about the physical line ?

      i think its about the master socket, if it looks like the picture below (split across the front)
