      Can't connect

      Right, we ordered the Sky package (3 for 26 iirc, with the 8mb ADSL) and the router came (it's the Sagem one). I plugged it into the mains, then the phone line, then my PC using the ethernet cable. The "1" ethernet light comes on, as does "power" and "wireless" but not the internet. Do I have to wait for Sky to do something?

      You should get an activation date in a letter from sky

      You have had to have a letter from Sky, with your username/Password/ email address and Activation date.. When you have 4 lights on your modem, that means you are connected up, at the local Exchange and you can then start Browsing.

      when the letter comes, check the I on the router is green and that means your line ic activated.

      I have been on sky broadband for a month and only just got the letter yesterday.I found it was easier to go to MY SKY and look at your orders to find any info re activation date.
