      Sky Router Disconnection

I have a problem where after I've been playing XBOX LIVE the router disconnects and doesn't respond for ages, I also get very slow performance when my son plays his Nintendo WII wireless.

Does anyone have an answer to this or know if upgrading the firmware would help?

      Re: Sky Router Disconnection

Did you try turning off UPnP and changing the channels, as suggested previously.

What is your speed like? Remember when you do a speed check with one machine connected, that speed has to be shared among all your machines. ie if you have a speed of about 2mb, shared among 3 machines that gives a bit less than .7 mb each, all things being equal. In practise, one machine will usually hog more than it's fair share, reducing the speed of the others.
