      Filter Advice please

I have just moved from Orange BB (8 meg) through a Livebox to Sky Max (16 meg) can I use the old Orange filters that are in place or must I use the ones supplied with the Sky router (Netgear 934)?

      Thanks.

Just use the existing filters and keep the Sky ones as spares.

You shouldn't have to change your filters, they are supposed to be manufactured to standard specifications and your Orange ones should work fine.

That said, some filters are better than others, and now you're on Sky Broadband Max, with speeds that are possibly higher than you had with Orange (depending on your phoneline), you may find things work better with the Sky-supplied filters. But then again you might find the ones Orange supplied work better! Most likely, though, you wouldn't notice much difference.
