Is the router connected directly to the main telephone socket via a supplied filter? Are there any other telephone sockets in the house in use and are filters plugged into those too?

I take it the sky box and phone line are plugged into the filter? You may need to get your stats from the router for people here to help you as the problem may be the config on the router not working with your line distance/ quality.
Sky User - The unofficial support forum for everything Sky! How to get your router statistics shows you how to get basic stats from the router.
How are you rebooting the router? Best way is to remove the black power lead from the back of the sky router for at least 10 seconds and then plug it back in.

Have you called Sky TS? If it drops the connection repeatedly during the day/ week then ring up and complain.
