Exclamation To Test Your Speed.. The Sky Recomended Way

      Hi all,

Sorry if this is somewhere else but if not..

After speaking to a Sky teky, a good one, he told me to use http://www.btopenworld.com/speedtest to test for connection speed.

Apparently this is a better one to use as it has the capabilities to max out nearly anyones connection, because of its setup/location etc.

Right click on the Large (15 Mbytes) and click 'save as'... choose your destination (desktop, for easy deletion?) and then watch it work.

When its finished it'll give you an average transfer rate.

I belive for every 100 mbps ish, thats roughly 1mb of connection speed.

Hope this is of use for some of you!

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
