      start/stop fault on line?????

      im in the middle of transfering from madasafish to sky mid package. i was rung up by sky saying BT had said there was a start-stop issue with the line and this might delay my transfer to sky. can someone tell me what they mean
      as ive never heard of this before

      Usually means something on the line is changing (account holder, address, phone number) and Sky have to wait for that change to complete before they can transfer it, I think...
