      Sagem router setup

I have the new Sagem router (just got it yesterday) for my Sky Broadband (Can't seem to find the exact model no.) and just want to use it for one PC by cable.
It's all working fine, got it port forwarded etc. no problem, but I just wanted to know the exact settings to stop it transmitting wirelessly too. There are several radio buttons for "Wireless Access Point" (3) and "Security Options" (4).
I'm presuming I just untick "Enable Wireless Access Point" and "Allow Broadcast of Name (SSID)" and tick "Wireless Isolation" and the "Security Options" below it for encryption would therefore be meaningless anyway....?
      Thanks very much.

Untick them and apply. (enable wireless access point and allow broadcast of name) although if you turn off the wireless access point then it won't broadcast anything at all.

Are we talking about the same router here? I got it yesterday: little grey rounded box with a sky logo on the front?

      Re: Sagem router setup

No matter what router sky send you the details are the same:
      IP login 192.168.0.1
      User name admin
      Password sky

If it were anything else troubleshooting the routers would be a pain in the backside when customers ring in with a problem.

      Re: Sagem router setup

Thanks Paul. I reset it. Now admin and sky do work. Now I want to know how to change the firmware so I can use the router for a different ADSL provider. Do you know how to do that? Presumably Sagem make one?

No one has managed to flash the new routers yet.
