Re: cd drive not working after running sky install disk

something's not finished installing correctly so it'll be asking for the disk to finish installing whatever it was doing....it's not a broken cd drive

why did you use the disk? nothing on it is needed to get connection working (bar McAfee if you need it)

Re: cd drive not working after running sky install disk

Do you receive this message when you try to access any disk in the drive?
This often happens after uninstalling a burning utility or other program that makes use of the CD drive. Try fixing it by going to the Device Manager, expand the DVD/CD Rom section, right click the drive in question and select 'uninstall' Reboot your PC, the CD will be found and re-installed,

If this does not help you may have to try the instructions given in this ARTICLE

I have not heard of the Sky disk causing this on any other PC, in fact I have never heard of any legal disk that can cause it. There are illegal programs which can have this effect, but I don't imagine that is the case here.
