      Help Please - Keep Disconnecting

      help please

Got sky max on Thursday at 1600 cant stay connected more than 1 hour without the line dropping, then with speed of 4mb all the time not 16mb.
Was on BT 8m not one drop for 3 years and speed of 6mb.
Rang SKY was told after 30 mins to INDIA I presume that I have to wait 3 days for line to settle down
Is this the truth as now it is 3 days and today I have had line drop 30 times in last 2 hours.

      Not good service.

I am on the DG834GT router.

What is my next thing to do please

      any advice

You will need to post your router stats to get further advice as these sometimes give a clue what is happening on your line.

Re: Help Please - Keep Disconnecting

Are you using the test socket? It's the one hidden behind the face plate bottom section. If your main socket has a physical joint running left to right just above the screws you have a hidden test socket, if it does not have a phsical joint above the fixing screws you do not have a test socket.
