      OP - best post full stats as if line is on ADSL2+ it might benefit going to gdmt....

      8meg with BT but got 6meg ok

      see the link on my sig about getting router stats and post the 'detailed stats' - it might be a line issue that you have which is affecting your BB...

      yes have tried all that
      but still no good
      but i ask why did level 2 support tell that I had to wait 3 days before I could report a problem
      not impressed with SKY as yet

      i would think with your last provider you were capped, this would push your SNR up and give you a more stable connection, your first couple of stats had SNR of around 5.4, with the sky router anything below 6 will give you problems.

      one of the easiest ways to improve this is to try the test socket (see first link in my sig)
      if you do not have one or have an old style socket you could have a look at cabling and faceplate thread (will give advise on ring wire removal if you feel up to it)

      he was on BT (which is ADSLMax) so that has the 10 day training up and then sets to a set speed...

      you need to get onto Sky and 'try' to talk to CST (the old tier 2/3)
