I was looking to use the sky SMTP server in the highlighted box. If this is not possible, or might not be possible in the near future, then please advise, as I might as well stay as I am with Pipex.

Propinupthebar. Are you saying use the https://www.dyndns.com/account/services/ and then put their SMTP server address in the highlighted box?

      Thank you again.

Same goes for Gun_Runner, although if you upgrade your email with Fasthosts then they will give you a roaming SMTP address - however, Fasthosts Exchange mail is something liek 6 a month!

Are you saying I can get Google Apps to host my domain name? I am confused by this statement. Remember, I am not going to change my domain name email address EVER.

      Thanks

I'm suggesting you use Google Apps to host your email servers. This makes no difference to your email addresses, just the details you put into your Outlook settings.

When you sign up for Google Apps, you change the MX records for your domain hosts to point to the google servers.

Re: Can I use SKY SMTP with my own domain and email

GunRunner - You would set yourself up with an account, which gives you a username and pass word to use, then yes you would enter the dydns supplied smtp server address in the highlighted box, and the username and password (specific for the dyndns SMTP server) and thats it, your mail is sent via the dyndns smtp server.
