But where does it say my exchange is over subscribed to Sky BB LLU?

Reading elsewhere that Margin/SNR should be more than 7dB, should be around 15dB to get ADSL2+.
      Is this true?
Anyone who was on ADSL and had similar margin/SNR before moving to ADSL2+ and get good speeds?

What does it say is available when you put your phone number into Sky's availability checker?

      8Mb
But this is what i can't understand.
My exchange is unbundled for Sky BB 16Mb max.
I'm 1.1Km from exchange as crow flys and estimate my line to be around 1.8Km long using the excel spreedsheet and attenuation 25dB it also indicates i can get a speed of around 12-16Mb.

basically, should you get set to gdmt then call tier 3 and they can do it on the phone - best try if poss to actually be on the phone when they do it as although the line might be fine length/att. wise it may just not sync up as fast as it should THEORETICALLY...i have seen it before

You seem to be getting very wound up about something that hasn't happened yet.

If, which is possible but not likely, you don't at first get an ADSL2+ connection, then it probably won't be a big deal to get it switched if your line is up to it.

      Relax and see what happens.

Is it possible all the Max slots have been used and only Mid remains? The other possibility is that the Sky LLu is full and Connect is being offered!

Yes probably getting too wound up as you say, too much time on my hands as off work at the moment due to ankle operation.
Like you say it'll probably only take a call if i'm not on the right thing.

Sky never offered me anything i just selected 16Mb max package from website, and it also says that in MySky account.

For some reason I can't get the Edit button to work

I just wanted to add that this is what it says on the Checker site -

All 6 Sky TV Entertainment mixes, plus Sky Broadband with up to 8Mb* download speeds and Sky Talk Freetime could soon be yours for just 26 a month (plus your BT line rental).
Which may be causing the confusion, but this is only one of the options!
