BT order tracker

In mid August I made the stupid decision to migrating from BT BB to Sky BB.

The list of the problems that I had and the lies that I heard from Sky are endless.

The second promised connection date was 7th of Sep. I am not connected yet.

Can somebody help me with "BT order tracker" please? What is the URL?
I found one on the BT site but it is asking for an order number.
If it is the right one - where I could get my order number?

The easiest way to set it up is look at your BT phone number and take the account number from that.
2 letters 8 digits.
AA12345678

Add that to the tracker once you have signed up with bt.
You can then manage your phone account online as well see cost of calls etc.
You should see in there a CEASE & a PROVIDE, if your migrating.

Thank you very much guys,

The info on the BT page says:
Order reference AA111AA
Placed 30 Aug 2006
Description CHANGE
Appointment No date yet
Date due 07 Sep 2006
Status Order completed
Last update 07 Sep 2006
Latest update Your order has been completed.

Items in this order
Description Item Quantity Cost Rental
PROVIDE LLU LINE SHARE PSTN 1 £ 0.0 £ 0.0

Does it mean that I have been switched to Sky BB?

My router shows modem connection OK, but no IP address. In fact it reports "CHAP authorisation failed" during the connection process.

The problem is that Sky tech support are saying that my order is not completed, but their "Provisional department" considers that the line is switched. So I am in a limbo -> no Internet however.

Well looking at what you have posted I would say yes

So give SkyBB TS or provisioning a call and inform them as it would seem BT have not informed them, I had to do the same thing myself.

I found another entry on BR tracker. It says:
Placed 30 Aug 2006
Description CHANGE
Appointment No date yet
Date due 12 Sep 2006
Status Order completed
Last update 12 Sep 2006
Latest update Your order has been completed.

Items in this order
Description Item Quantity Cost Rental
CEASE (ADSL) BT IPSTREAM HOME 1000 1 £ 0.0 £ 0.0

So now I have "CEASE" on my line. Somebody in the forum mentioned that I need also "PROVIDE" in order to get the whole show running. Is this the case? Who should I call for it?

What I meant is that my "PROVIDE" was completed on 7th and "CEASE" on 12th of September. Is this the right sequence of events?
