      i made a discovery today. I remove the front of the phone socket and put it directly in & bang now getting these stats



      Is it ok if i just keep the front off?

      Removing the faceplate disconnects any extensions in the house.

      It sounds like you have a wiring issue internally.

      How confident are you to remove a wire?

      My Router without downloading stats:
      Were these taken with the face off or from the Master socket? If they were from the Test socket you have external phone line errors. If from the Master socket with the faceplate on, you have probably got internal wiring problems. An ADSL faceplate would probably cure this.

      And plugged just the router (no extension, splitter etc) into the socket hidden behind the faceplate?
