      I'm not entirely sure..initially the disconnects seemed the same as before, but it's been stable for about 20 mins now.


      I haven't installed any of the software on the provided Sky CD - could that be affecting my wired connection at all?

      A little off topic but may be of benefit to the OP is that your line stats are exceptionally good.
      This means that if you were to switch to the Max package you would probably get close to the full 16Meg.
      Something to bear in mind.

      Thanks for the suggestion Mac

      Strangely enough, my original intention was to get the max package, yet when I rang Sky I was told that my phone line would not support 16Mbps, and the best I could get was 8Mbps.
