      Confused with MAC

Please help . A bit confused. I am currently with BT broadband, but am switching over to Sky Max. We have an activation date for Sky for the 20th and Sky have our MAC. When do I need to cancel or deactivate BT broadband? Do I do this before the 20th or after the 20th?? Thanks.

you should confirm that the account is cancelled after your sky installation is done and working...... ( in case of migration delays )

It *should* be an automatic process, but you are after all dealing with BT...

      Welcome to the site kheb3350

As has just been said by Steve it should all be done by BT but they do tend to mess it up so once you are up and running with SkyBB call your old BT broadband and tell them that your migration is now complete.

      Good luck with your move

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

Yes always better to check yourself than relying on someone mess who could mess it up
