      Upload Speed.

My upload speed has always been very stable 380kb ish even when I was having major connection issues. But last night I noticed it is now dropped to around 180kb/200kb and looks very irratic the needle on the speedtest is bouncing around all over the place. I tried a few differen't sites which gave the same results, download speed seems uneffected infact I would say it has gone up a few hundred kb because it is now topping 7mb where as it was about 6.9mb.
Sounds stupid but any idea's anyone?
I just hope it isn't the start of some plending future failure! especially after the fun I had on the phone last night with Sky CS trying to sort my email out. If I have to ring them again I think I will jump ship now my 12 months is up!! They are the most incompetent *** *** *** I've ever come accross! anyways!!

      Re: Upload Speed.

First of all could you post your router stats, so that the main line stats are displayed, like the upload connection speed and the moise margin of the upload connection, and the problem can be taken from there and see if the upload can be improved

      Re: Upload Speed.

those stats should not be giving you problems

apart from the router firmware / the email problems / ping problems / tilt of the earth in relation to the magnectic poles / ionosphere changes and spurs winning a game,

hopefully your problems were just a minor blip
