^^^ Both those sets of stats are consistently healthy, showing 9 and 10 hours connection respectively, with no errors and a sync of 7808 with a high SNR.

This would appear to indicate that your problem is with your PC or network card rather than your internet connection. The first thing I would do is try an update of your network card driver to latest version.

Or are you wireless and this is a wireless problem?

If not that and as suggested, it's not your PC/network card then the most likely explanation is that you're on Connect.

Connect is a heavily contended service and prone to slowdowns and inconsistent performance.

Re: having 2 reboot, but not for dropouts???

i have a wired pc, and wireless laptop, even if im not using both of them and come in and turn on any of them or both of them, there the same after approx 10h of router being on?, reboot router without doing anything to pc's and my speed is back for 10 or so hours? then a router reboot is req

i must point out, using the adsl nation face plate, with it i sync at 7808, with out its 7876, noise with 12.6 average, without 13.0, stats done at nite?

tried my own router for 12h and it didnt happen?

also have xbox connection probs when it drops speed, but a reboot of router sorts that aswell, according to cs my pc, my laptop and xbox are faulty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you trying to surf the Sky.com website?! It has been giving me this message for the last two days as it is overloaded with people trying to sort their Skooglemail. This is not a problem at your end!

well tbh ive had it with sky connect, 24h after i reported the fault, it was all good till today (48h) so the weekend was all good, then come in from work, see surfing is slow, check speednet, 1.5mb, leave it some time, 1/2 mb, reboot router, back to 6mb, i have also noticed now that when my speed is dropping that my pings go up?, reboot router and thye pings go down?

anyway, have asked for my mac code, and told 10 days to get it by post

seeing as Connect is BT sold by Sky you'd have the same problems - it'd just be a bit quicker to solve!!
