      Consistant connection issues.

      Please can someone help me.

I have been a sky mid customer for 6-7 months with no issues untill recenty.

I am getting a lot of connection drop outs over the past month.

Sky say my line should only really work at 3.5mb but I am getting 6.5mb they have capped the line connection to 5 mb but I still get issues but I think not as much.

I did have a Netgear dg834gt router but have now got a Belkin 8631 this has not solved the issue but has increased my wireless range.

When I got home tonight the Internet light was not on at all.

Here are the logs before I rebooted the router.

I think CRC errors are the issue and am thinking of getting sky to cap my line to 3.5 mb.

I would be interested my any help I can get.

If they said that the line could only take 3.5 why did they cap at 5? Doesn't make sense to me. When they capped the line did you call them back when the problem was still there?

      Re: Consistant connection issues.

      I know what you mean.

I have a call in with them now to capp it to 3.5 mb and I hope the link tay's up better.

What I cant understand is why has it been working for such a long time on 6.5 mb and now just started to get worse.
