      the tier 3 agent should not have put u onto fastpath!! know there was the post other day about requesting it, but was told last fri night not to do it or ask for it!! as its a interleaved service

      oh well , I prefer fast path , I told the agent forget about the pings if it means I will sync at a lower speed, pings to jolt.co.uk are 62ms

      Not great still, but presumably better than before.

      My router has claimed fast path from day one of my max connection, however if I plug in my linksys router, it claims interleaved.

      Apparently the Netgear (sky) router has a habit of getting that particular bit of info wrong.

      To be honest, and back to the original subject. It's not a good idea to reduce the error handling on an already marginal line. Sky folk should be looking at the line and simply refusing to adjust interleaving depth. After all it's there to make you connection more stable, and as you have found... packetloss effects your ping far more than the error correction that prevents it.
