      Microfilters

      If your router is connected via the NTE5 Faceplate with a built in splitter do you still need to have adsl filters fitted to all other devices using the line around the house?

      There needs to be a filter between anything attached to your phone line e.g. phone / sky box / alarm etc etc & the main socket - if you've got one of the modern sockets with a point for phone & one for ADSL, then the phone one will have a filter & anything connecting via that point will be filtered ...

      Just to add to that. Also make sure that you do not filter a line twice ie. Put a filter at both ends on an extension. It will not stop your broadband connection but may cause your noise margin to drop.
