      Question I'm A Newbie....

Hi all, I am a complete eejit when it comes to compooters! All I did with my current BT connection is plug it in, install and off we went. So..I have read a few of these posts and I don't even want to know the puzzled expression probably spread across my face!

So guys, I want to sign up and pay 10 quid for my broadband. How complicated is this going to be? I want a wireless router and in a letter I received from Sky it said that with the MAX option, I would receive one free.

Can anyone tell me in lamens terms exactly what this new stiff will entail etc.? My BT one was so straightforward that now I'm concerned this may be more than it's worth...

      Please get back to me

      Much Love
      Sweet x

      Smile NooBee....

      Basically...

You will unplug your BT Router
      Plug in the Sky router
if you are using a Windows PC or a Mac, you will be prompted for a WPA password which comes with the router...and
BadaBing - you will be connected.

Then you need to configure your email client (Outlook / Outlook Express / Entourage....whatever your choice).

Bob's your uncle and away you go...

      Welcome to the site SOSOSWEET

Its very easy as has been said but if you put the CD in and watch that it will tell you all you need to know and is very easy for the novice user to understand, once the instillation instructions are finished you can either exit the CD or if you want you can install the free security software though if you already have some that you are happy with then I would suggest you stick with that.

      Good luck.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
