-get an xte-2005 faceplate and run a dedicated extention up to the PC (not my choice)
-get an xte-2005 faceplate, leave router by master and run ethernet to the PC (what ive personally done)
-get an xte-2005 faceplate and go wireless (again, not my choice but convinient)

think i'll end up up tryng the wireless option.. i've just finished a trunking episode and cant be arsed to do it all again.

So is it ok to leave the face plate off long term or not?

Its tucked away behind a bed so wont be seen or messed with

      Cheers

No harm in leaving it off, but if your extensions are wired to it, they will not work.
