      Change Sky Package.

      Hi,

Not sure if this is the correct place to post, but wondering if you guys could help me. I have been with sky now for 18 months, sky broadband for 8 months on the MAX package. The wife is nagging me about the cost, so I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to change to the 26 a month package before I go and ring up sky??

      Cheers,

      James

I dont see why not, You can move around with TV so I would only think you can with the Broadband.

I know that you can move from Mid to Base, Base to Max ect, So I would assume the same for the bundles.

Downgrading the broadband is not possible during the first 12 months of a BB contract.

edit: it is technically possible but not contractually permitted.

TSx, I dont know about the contract in detail, But when we had Sky Broadband before we moved, We were orginally on Max moved to Mid and then Back up to Max (Long story) without any hassles. That was all done by Customer Services.

      Re: Change Sky Package.

You may have a case for downgrading if your speed is not very good. I would say that anyone who cannot get over 8mbps has a good case for downgrading to the 8 mb package. I don't suppose Sky will look at it that way, but you never know
