      Download speeds better with Tiscali

      Hi
I,m new to Sky (1 week only) and am already thinking of going back to Tiscali. I do alot of downloading P2P and before I moved to sky I was with Tiscali who managed both my BB and BT line. When I switched to sky I had to set up another account with BT before I could get Sky ect! No Problems there.
I was sent a new router from sky so I couldn't use my old router and after setting all this up my speeds plumitted from 450/550kbs being on a 8Meg line with Tiscali to 25/100kbs on a 16meg line with sky. Also sometimes it doesn't matter how many seeds there are it still won't go over 100kbs unlike Tiscali it would go through the roof. Does anybody know what the problem is as I'm not sticking around with Sky BB if it stays like this.I'm not sure hat info you need but if I havn't listed what you need then let me know.

      Hi

Have you opened the ports in the router to allow the traffic?

Just try adapting them guides to your situation. On MAX there is no throttling, and so slow speeds are normally misconfiguration or poor seeds etc. Ask if you need any more help.
