So I got through to T3

Yeah, really nice guy tried to help me out and stabilise my connection and I got my max delays reduced. I was told to call back if the connection dropped within 24 hours.

So I waited. Was playing a new game online (with terrible pings of over 100 ) and then the connection drops at 19 hours. So I call sky back and ... I finally give her my ticket number etc and /still/ after that I have to bluff my way to get to T3. I'm on hold and then she tells me the line is "too busy" and if I would "try again later".

Not impressed. I'm going to have to bluff my way through T1 for a second time today.

I don't know for sure if this is the right advice, but you could try phoning after 11pm. You seem to get easier access to the tech-heads at that time of night. Maybe they're the only ones still working that late at night!

Yep queues get shorter late in the evening so getting through to T3 is more of an option. But T1 -3 is still going strong that time of night. T1 goes 24/7 I believe.
Did they put into your notes that you should be calling back if the line dropped? If not you will have to go through the usual questioning to get to T2/ T3 when you ring.

They did. They gave me a reference number and the guy said to me as he opened another ticket "you should call back if the line drops in the next 24 hours".

Got capped at 4mb when I used to get 12 But we're still paying for the max package? What's that about?

Yep. your line cannot handle a higher speed and stay stable. Ring up and downgrade your package or complain and look for a reduction in your monthly bill for it.
