      sky changing my max delays to 8

      How can you actually tell, when sky have reduced max delay to 8? what notable differences, can be seen after the change??

      tho did get a response from sky from an email:

      Thank you for contacting Sky Broadband Technical Support.
      I have created Ticket ****** to allow us to test your connection to change your max delays. This can take up to 5 working days to complete. However once completed you will notice a drop in your online gaming latency.

      It will show in your full router stats - look at the numbers after "D".

      Did you have a reason for asking for the delay to be reduced? This is only really useful to online gamers as it reduces the ping, if you are not a gamer it is usually not worth it. You should be aware that reducing the delay can result in your speed also being reduced, which is often necessary to keep the line stable.
