We had a big outage yesterday (Thursday) for a good few hours from mid-morning. Everything lit up, but no IP from Sky / Easynet, and no LCP. I've had a few minor outages tody also, but router restarts seem to have sorted that. Not affected by the exchange work being undertaken by EasyNet, but something's going on, that's for sure.

Spoke to soon it went off lol.Well went off reconnected by itself within few seconds. And didnt stay off like it usually do during evening.Been online 7hrs 56 mins beforehand if this carrys on i ll be happy.
Intresting to note it usually drops out when noise margin falls below 5.0

I don't believe it as Mr. Meldrew would say. Mine has been on & off for the last three days, I have phoned Sky twice and emailed, all to no avail and now I find this thread which probably explains it! Why can't Sky Tier 1 operators have this simple explanation added to their scripts to save everyone loads of hassle and phone calls???

Interesting. Mine has been doing exactly the same thing........

When it does start to come back on, I can surf some, but not all pages, and those which I can't get to are Sky.com !!

I've reverted back to my old router to see what happens, and already I've noticed a BIG difference in performance, ping times and stability.

      Pete
