      Unhappy VPN horror!!

      Hi,

If anyone can offer any help on this matter i'll be most appreciative.

I connect to my work remotely through Cisco VPN. When i'm on the road and away from home i can connect to the VPN without having to make any changes or adding any rules. However, when I'm at home and try to connect, I put in my password and it authorises and connects to the VPN, but the received data sticks at 205 and the sent data does move up, but slowly. No errors come up, but because of not receiving any data i cannot access the network.

Our IT guy is completely stumped by this, but does have someone else in the office who has the same problem.

If anymore information would help, please let me know and I'll find it out.

I use Cisco VPN over the sky router with no problems.

I think you need to forward the VPN ports under the firewall rules in the router admin page.

I use Cisco VPN fine too for my work. What transport does your company use? We use Ipsec/UDP and it worked for me straight out the box, I didn't have to make any changes to the router.

Also what Cisco Client are you using? I use 4.6.01
Post Sky DLM and after some cowboy contracters and BT ruined my line quality (was 6mb pre DLM):

I use VPN too to access work via my sky router and it worked first time with no alterations.
