      RE: new customer

      Hi there

Sorry if this has already been asked.

I am about to move to a new house and I have a few questions.

there is already a Sky dish fitted but the current occupier doesn't subscribe to anything. Can i apply as a new customer even although there is equipment fitted??? Also i want to get a Sky HD box. do I have to get it from Sky or as they are cheaper else where can I get Sky to activate HD once I have the box????

Lastly is Sky broadband really as bad as everyone seems to say for gaming????

      Many thanks in advance

      I would have thought so.

You don't have to get off Sky, and Sky should be able to activate you once you are up and running

      Nope, try this thread

      Re: new customer

I ordered my Sky HD box from Sky, but it still hadn't turned up after two weeks. I went to a local independent installer who supplied and installed the box the next day, for 60 less than Sky's standard price. My experience of Sky is that they're not very good when it comes to supplying and installing equipment - best to avoid them, in my opinion.
